Morgan Thomas (15) Remember Me 33x44 Acrylic on Canvas This Piece was inspired by the Opera singer Jessye Norman when she sang her rendition of "When I am Laid in Earth". There was a specific part in her performance where she held her hands out to the audience and sang "Remember Me". I wanted to capture her in this moment because she was pleading to be remembered, and not just singing the song. Remember Miss Jessye Norman in ALL of her glory.
