Taziyah King (12) Stary Notes 16x20 Mixed Media First, I researched some ideas. Next, I picked a canvas, which already had a painting of water on it that fit my idea. I changed the background and added light blue lines with thin strokes and I painted white lines on the bottom to match the style on the top. I added a silhouette of Jessye Normanand with blue highlights, and music notes to the swirls. My painting is abstract, it’s a blue sky with light blue lines and yellow circles blending in with the light blue lines. I was inspired by the canvas with the water as well as “The Starry Night”, by Vincent van Gogh. I enjoyed this project because everyone's input helped me carry out this masterpiece. TaZiyah King
